2 · Acceptance

By using this site, subscribing to the newsletter, downloading a PDF, or signing up for the ARC program, you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

3 · ARC program (Advance Review Copy)

The ARC program is closed. It was a free, optional invitation to read an advance copy of A Memory of Iron before its official publication, in exchange for an honest reader review. The novel was published on July 5, 2026 on Amazon KDP (and is distributed on IngramSpark as of August 1, 2026), so no new registrations are accepted. The conditions below remain in force for ARC copies that were already delivered.

By registering you agree to:

Not share, forward, upload, sell, or redistribute the file you receive. The ARC copy is delivered as a PDF signed with your email as a personalized, traceable watermark.
Post an honest review on at least one of the platforms listed in the form (Amazon, Goodreads, Instagram, blog, etc.) within 30 days of the official launch, as far as reasonably possible.
That receiving the ARC does not imply any obligation of a positive review. Your opinion remains free and honest.
That the author may revoke ARC access if leaks or misuse of the material are detected.
That the program had a limited cap (100 readers in total across the Spanish and English editions) and that registration did not guarantee selection.

4 · Lead magnet (free short story and wallpapers)

The canon short story (Méndez's Ring) and the Iron and Void Saga wallpaper pack are delivered by email in exchange for subscription to the editorial newsletter. You may unsubscribe at any time. Downloaded material is for personal use: it may not be commercially redistributed.

5 · Intellectual property

All content on this site (text, literary copy, cover artwork, ship blueprints, universe illustrations, photographs of the author, music, code and design) is protected by the author's copyright unless otherwise stated. Some pieces may be licensed by specific collaborators (for example: the music kethana nivra is explicitly credited to Julián Machuca Ramírez).

Commercial use, mass reproduction, and training of generative AI models on the site's content are not authorized, except for search and assistance bots explicitly allowed in robots.txt.

6 · Purchases

Book purchases occur on external platforms (Amazon KDP, IngramSpark) or via WhatsApp for physical shipping within Ecuador. The conditions of purchase, delivery, and return are those of each platform. The author is not responsible for logistic incidents on Amazon or IngramSpark, but addresses claims within 14 days of delivery.

Reference prices in USD: Kindle edition $5.99, Amazon paperback $15.99, and signed print copy delivered within Ecuador $14.99. Amazon prices may vary by marketplace (store country), applicable taxes, and platform pricing changes; the price that applies is always the one Amazon displays at the time of purchase. The Ecuador print price does not include shipping outside Cuenca, which is agreed over WhatsApp before the order is confirmed.

7 · Personal data

The processing of personal data (newsletter, ARC program, contact) is governed by the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms by reference.

8 · Service availability

This is a personal site. I do not guarantee 24/7 availability. There may be maintenance windows, transient errors, or hosting interruptions. I do my best to notify and resolve them quickly.

9 · Limitation of liability

Site content is provided "as is". I am not liable for indirect damages resulting from use of (or inability to use) the site, nor for typographic errors in publication dates or in the prices listed, which are always confirmed on the official channels of Amazon KDP and IngramSpark.

10 · Modifications

These terms may be updated. When I do, I will change the "Last updated" date above. Substantial changes are notified by email to active subscribers.

11 · Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ecuador. For any dispute, the parties submit to the competent courts of the canton of Cuenca, province of Azuay, waiving any other jurisdiction. For readers in the European Union, mandatory consumer rights provided by local law remain unaffected.
